Playing Trivial Pursuit At UNC!

A UNC student was playing
Trivial Pursuit one night.

It was her turn, she rolled
the dice and she landed on
"Science & Nature". Her
question was, "If you are in
vacuum and someone calls
your name, can you hear it?"

She thought for a time and
then asked, "Is it on or off?"

I went to a store in Chapel Hill to buy some insecticide.
"Is this good for beetles?" I asked the clerk who was also
a UNC student. "No," he replied. "It'll kill 'em."

A UNC student was speeding in a 35 mile per hour zone in
Chapel Hill, NC when a local police cruiser pulled her over
and walked up to the car. The police officer happened to be
a UNC grad and she asked for the student's driver's license.

The driver searched frantically in her purse for a while and
finally said to the policewoman "What does a driver's license
    look like?"

Irritated, the cop said "You dummy, it's got your picture on it!"

The driver frantically searched her purse again and found a
small rectangular mirror down at the bottom. She held it up
to her face and said, "Aha! This must be my driver's license"
and handed it to the policewoman.

The cop looked in the mirror, handed it back to the driver
and said, "You're free to go. And, if I had known you were
a police officer too, we could have avoided all this hassle."

A UNC student in tears called her father.
"What's the matter?" asked the father.
"You gave me some bad financial advise," she said.
"I did? What did I tell you?"
"You told me to put my money in that big bank,
and now that big bank is in trouble."
"What are you talking about, that's one of the largest banks in the
world," he said, "surely there must be some mistake."
"I don't think so," said the girl, "they just returned one of my checks
with a note saying, 'Insufficient Funds'."

  6. There's a saying old says that love is blind
Still we're often told "seek and ye shall find"
So I'm going to seek a certain girl/lad I've had in mind
Looking everywhere, haven't found her yet
She's the big affair I cannot forget
Only girl/man I ever think of will regret

I'd like to add her/him initials to my monogram
Tell me where's the shepherd for this lost lamb

    There's a somebody I'm longing to see
I hope that she/he turns out to be
    Someone to watch over me

    I'm a little lamb who's lost in a wood
I know I could always be good
To one who'll watch over me

Although I/he may not be the man some girls think of
    As handsome to my heart
    She/he carries the key

Won't you tell her/him please to put on some speed
Follow my lead, oh how I need
    Someone to watch over me
    Someone to watch over me

  7. "This is how much God loved the world: He gave His Son, His one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in Him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending His Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in Him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust Him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person's failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to Him. "This is the crisis we're in: God-light streamed into the world, but men and women everywhere ran for the darkness. They went for the darkness because they were not really interested in pleasing God. - John 3:16-19
