Nothing rattles my son-in-law,
especially when the UNC Tar
Heels are on TV.
One day we were watching
a game, when my daughter
shrieked from the kitchen,
"Henry, there's a horsefly
in here!"
Not taking his eyes off the
screen, he barked back,
"Give it some cough syrup."

Standing on the sidelines during a football practice at UNC,

ground and didn't move. We grabbed our first-aid gear and
rushed out onto the field.
The coach picked up the young man's hand and urged, "Son,
can you hear me? Squeeze once for yes and twice for no."

complaints about the postal service.
Time was, you could put a
two-cent stamp on a letter
and mail it, and it would
arrive at its destination
in two days.
Now you put a forty-one-cent
stamp on a letter and it can
take four to five weeks to
arrive. Still only a penny
a day!
